Fairview, Texas Home Page
The Town of Fairview was incorporated in 1958 with a population of 50. Since that time it has grown steadily to today's population of 8,582 +/-. The community is marked by large houses on large lots, expansive open spaces, numerous horse farms, excellent schools (Lovejoy ISD / McKinney ISD), rolling hills, expansive hardwoods, and beautiful creeks. Fairview, Texas is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and is one of the best kept secrets of Collin County. While the town motto is "Keeping It Country," the town still maintains the best of both worlds -- up-scale living in a beautiful rural atmosphere, while being just minutes away from fine shopping and dining throughout the metroplex.
