Detailed Description
Driving west on Burning Tree Lane in the Old Shepard Place neighborhood, this property rises on the north side of the street, facing south and presented by a brick mailbox mimicking the façade of the home at the street, the exposed aggregate walkway meanders to the steps of the front entrance surrounded by Bermuda grass and filled with large rock and raised brick landscape beds, brimming with colorful blooming flowers, lush greenery and many established trees. The traditional style home is composed of red brick, sprinkled with a few light bricks for interest; the corners are fashioned in a quoin pattern while the rest of the brick is traditionally laid. The high pitched, gray composite roof includes two gables trimmed in a cream color that easily blends with the bolder dark green exterior paint of the front door array and window surrounds. The 8’ x 3’ solid front door is welcoming to the home and both the paired sidelights and arched window above offer clear beveled glass for light. On the westernmost side of the home the alleyway provides immediate access to the three car garage and entrance to the 8’ privacy fence around the swimming pool area.
